If the Buhda Dated

The book I am reading now is 'If the Buddha Dated'. I must admit, thought, that I am having a bit of a time really getting into it. When the book starts out by saying 'Buddha wouldn't have dated', then goes from there. . . something is just wrong.
This is one of those books that I may not bother to finish. Which I know, in some circles, is a cardinal sin, to not finish a book. With this one, I may risk it. Too many other books that are good and worth my precious reading time.

The only thing that might be considered - well, not a sin, but perhaps a shame - would be to struggle on reading a book you're not enjoying. I myself have just dumped a book into my give-away box after only reading the first chapter or so. This is "Gentlemen of Space" by Ira Sher, a novel written in some kind of gobbledy-gook non-sequential language that makes the story impossible to detect and no sense to be made of thought patterns. I picked it up at Roses for a buck, and now I wish I had the buck back.
By the way... Grrr. This Beta Blogger is not letting me log in to comment. Going to have to do the annonymous thing. You know who I am.

Hey Chicken Knees,
You can do the 'Other' identity and put in who you are. That is how I have been identifying myself on your blog.
