Dreams

Dreams are very important. It is amazing to me just how much they can affect our lives. If I have a 'good' dream, I can be energized by it all day. If I have a 'bad' dream, it can haunt me all day and I have to be very conscious to shake off it's effects. I have kept a dream journal for many years. It helps me to release the ‘bad’ dreams and to embrace the ‘good’ ones.
One thing I have noticed about dream interpretation is that the dreams are symbolic to the point that they make the dreamer stretch to figure them out. So, my observation is that as you become more adapt at dream interpretation, your dreams become more complex. An example. I have been working with my dreams for years, so I have had a good amount of experience trying to figure out what dreams mean. A friend of mine asked me about her dream. She is just getting into dream work. To her, her dream was cryptic. To me, it was like reading the back of a cereal box. No judgment there, just the observation that as we become more proficient with dream analysis, our dreams change to make us learn more. Some times I wish my dreams were as easy to understand as the back of a cereal box.

But don't forget, a cereal box in one person's dream may indicate one thing, and in someone else's something else entirely.

Also, the back of this particular cereal box might be a bit hard to read, unless you read spanish!
