MP3 for me

I have finally gone kicking and screaming into the ?20th? century. I now own an MP3 player. Not an IPod, mind you, yet an MP3 player.

This all came about because I downloaded an ebook from our library and wanted to burn it to cd so I could listen in the car. Which, of course, it wont let you do. Yet you can upload it to an MP3 player, though. Thus, the MP3 player.

I'm still learning how to use it, so I am not using it in the car, the original intention, yet. I want to know what I am doing before I even think about trying to use it while driving. When I do finally make that leap, I'll be one of those 'cool' people with only one earphone, because I want to be able to hear what is going on around me.
