New Adventure

Well, it is official. I start the next job 'new adventure' next Monday, 25 June 2007. So, this week I am busy on a project for boss number 2. A computer scanning job, and file organization. wooo hooo. At least it is going to help supplement the income.

Pet Food Recall

Well, I thought I was going to get away without being affected by the massive pet food recall that has been going on. WRONG. Let me preface this by saying that that was a very stupid presumption on my part, considering that I feed each of my five animals a different food (due to different conditions). I now have been effected by the pet food recall with two of my animals. First as Gazoo, who was the easiest to change over. He doesn't really have any conditions that require any special food. Now, this week SunRae was affected. The store where I bought her 'vegetarian' food, because of protein sensitivities, stopped carrying the food even though it had not been recalled. Yet many others of the same brand had been recalled, so they pulled the whole brand.

Integrity

How far does your integrity go? Yesterday mine was pushed beyond acceptance, to me. My boss was asking me to do something that I felt was unethical. He pushed. I quit. I still retain my INTEGRITY. (and I already have another job lined up, which came about after I quit.) I can not and will not work in an environment where there are no ethics or integrity. It is totally against who I am.

So, I am looking forward to new adventures in the work place.
